I came to Daeyeon, hoping to catch a glimpse of Busan as it is in everyday life.

Under the intense summer heat, I first stopped for a bowl of Nakgopsae — a small recharge before setting out to explore the streets of Busan. ; Nakgopsae (낙곱새) is a spicy Busan specialty combining octopus, shrimp, and beef tripe, slowly cooked in a rich sauce and served with rice.

Even beneath the harsh summer light, the streets were filled with a gentle sense of life. I felt a quiet happiness walking through a city that was still breathing.

Beyond the ordinary streets, a solemn place quietly awaited at the end of the road. ; the United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Korea
I came across a quiet place of remembrance. The United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Korea stands as a tribute to the thousands who gave their lives during the Korean War.

With my camera in hand, I left Daeyeon carrying a small collection of moments — the quiet rhythms of everyday Busan and the memories resting softly within its streets.
