Tongyeong is a harbor town famous for its oysters, but this time, I left the oysters behind and simply wandered through the town with my camera, taking in the quiet streets and the soft winter light.

A cable car ride took me up to a place overlooking the many islands scattered across the sea.
The view brought back memories of Japan’s Seto Inland Sea, with its quiet waters and islands scattered softly across the horizon.

A seagull gazed across the sea, as if lost in a moment of contemplation.
I walked slowly along the shore, watching the calm sea stretching out before me, with hardly a breath of wind.

I slowly made my way up a beautifully painted staircase, lingering over its quiet colors.

The view of the harbor was so familiar that, for a moment, I could almost imagine I was back in Japan.
