Away from the bustle of Seoul, a church with a sense of tradition stood quietly in Waegwan ; The Waegwan Abbey of St. Benedict, its old architecture carrying a quiet presence that seemed to belong to another time.

When I arrived at Waegwan Station, the clear autumn sky was there to greet me.
I hurried across the footbridge at Waegwan Station, the cool autumn breeze passing gently through.

The smaller church seemed to be the older of the two. A serene and peaceful space quietly welcomed me.

The larger church had a more modern presence, standing quietly beside the older one.

On the church grounds, there is a small shop known for its sausages. You can also find freshly baked bread there.

Leaving the church, I noticed an old, weathered house nearby.
Something about it caught my attention, so I stopped to take a photograph.

At Waegwan Market, I could feel the quiet rhythm of everyday life in a provincial town.

Instead of taking the train back, I chose the bus, hoping to enjoy a slower journey.
Waegwan Bus Terminal had the quiet, familiar feel of a small-town bus station.
